Purpose and Utility
The intended purpose of ABL is to facilitate data transactions within the Airbloc network. Users can earn ABL tokens by sharing their data, while advertisers and businesses can purchase data using ABL tokens. The token is also used for governance within the ecosystem.
Business Model Analysis
The core business model revolves around creating a transparent and fair marketplace for data exchange. This aligns with Islamic principles as it involves the exchange of real value (data) and provides clear utility. The platform does not engage in interest-bearing activities or prohibited industries.
Development and Adoption
Recent investigation shows minimal development activity on the project's GitHub repositories and limited updates to their technical infrastructure. The project appears to have significantly reduced its active development since 2021.
Token Distribution
The token distribution includes allocations for the team, advisors, and early investors, with standard vesting periods implemented. While detailed recent statistics about token holder distribution are not readily available, the initial distribution model followed industry standards for similar utility tokens.
