Alien Worlds
Crypto Overview
Overview
Alien Worlds (TLM) is a decentralized NFT metaverse built on multiple blockchains including WAX, Ethereum, and BNB Chain. The project launched in 2020 with the goal of creating an economic game where players can earn the native Trilium (TLM) token through mining, battling, and completing missions.
Intended Utility
TLM serves as the primary utility token within the Alien Worlds ecosystem. Its intended uses include: governance voting rights for the six planetary DAOs, staking to planets for mining rewards, purchasing NFT items and land, and in-game currency for various activities.
Actual Utility and Adoption
The platform has maintained active usage with regular player activity across its various features. On-chain data shows consistent mining operations, NFT trading, and staking activities. The game has achieved over 2.5 million registered players, though active daily users are significantly lower.
Token Distribution and Development
The initial token distribution allocated 40% to the mining rewards pool, 20% to the team and advisors (with vesting), 20% to the DAO treasury, and 20% to early supporters and development. The development team maintains regular updates to the platform, with ongoing improvements to gameplay mechanics and features.
Revenue Model and Operations
The project generates revenue through NFT marketplace fees and various in-game transactions. The model does not involve interest-bearing mechanisms or lending services. The gaming elements are skill-based rather than chance-based, with players earning rewards through active participation and strategy.
