Camelot Token (GRAIL) is the native token of Camelot DEX, a decentralized exchange built on Arbitrum. The token serves multiple purposes within the Camelot ecosystem, including governance rights, fee sharing, and liquidity provider incentives.
Purpose and Utility
GRAIL's primary utilities include: Governance participation in CamelotDAO, Revenue sharing from protocol fees, Staking rewards through xGRAIL mechanism, and Enhanced yields for liquidity providers.
Business Model Analysis
The protocol generates revenue through trading fees on the DEX platform. The business model is transparent and based on facilitating legitimate asset exchange. While the platform includes staking mechanisms, these represent actual ownership of protocol revenue rather than interest-bearing loans.
Real-World Adoption
Camelot has achieved significant adoption on Arbitrum, consistently ranking among the top DEXes on the network by trading volume. The protocol has integrated with numerous projects in the Arbitrum ecosystem and maintains active development.
Token Distribution
GRAIL's distribution includes allocations for team/advisors (15%), treasury (25%), and community incentives (60%). Team tokens are subject to a vesting schedule, reducing the risk of sudden selling pressure.
