DeFi Kingdoms
Crypto Overview
Project Overview
DeFi Kingdoms is a blockchain-based game that combines decentralized finance (DeFi) elements with gameplay mechanics. The JEWEL token serves as the primary currency within the game's ecosystem, used for purchasing in-game assets, participating in governance, and providing liquidity.
Purpose and Utility
The JEWEL token's primary utilities include: governance rights over the protocol, purchasing NFT heroes and land plots, paying for in-game actions, and staking in the game's 'Gardens' (liquidity pools). Players can use their JEWEL tokens to participate in various game activities, including questing, mining resources, and trading assets.
Business Model Evaluation
The project generates revenue through transaction fees from the in-game DEX, sales of heroes and items, and quest participation fees. These mechanisms involve actual asset exchange and create tangible utility for users. The game does not incorporate interest-based lending or explicit gambling mechanisms.
Real-World Adoption
The project maintains active development and user engagement, with regular updates and new feature implementations. The game operates across multiple blockchain networks including Klaytn and DFK Chain, showing technical capability and expansion.
Token Distribution and Governance
The token distribution includes allocations for development (40%), play-to-earn rewards (35%), and initial liquidity (25%). Team tokens are subject to a vesting schedule, reducing the risk of sudden selling pressure from insiders.
