Dexalot is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange (DEX) built on the Avalanche blockchain. The platform aims to provide a centralized exchange (CEX) experience with the benefits of decentralized trading. ALOT serves as the native utility token of the platform.
Purpose and Utility
The ALOT token serves multiple purposes within the Dexalot ecosystem: It is used for governance voting, paying trading fees (with discounts), and staking for additional benefits. Token holders can participate in protocol governance decisions and earn rewards through staking.
Business Model Analysis
The platform operates as a true decentralized exchange, facilitating direct peer-to-peer trading of cryptocurrencies. The business model is based on collecting trading fees, which is a legitimate form of revenue in Islamic finance as it represents payment for a service. The exchange does not engage in interest-bearing activities or lending protocols.
