Purpose and Utility
Fuse Network is a Layer-1 blockchain platform launched in 2019, designed to enable businesses to easily integrate blockchain payments and decentralized finance (DeFi) into their operations. The FUSE token serves as the native currency for the network, used for transaction fees, staking, and governance.
Business Model Assessment
The platform focuses on providing payment solutions and financial services through its blockchain infrastructure. Key components include: The Fuse Stack for business integration, Voltage for validating transactions, and Fuse Cash mobile wallet for end-users.
Real World Adoption
The network has achieved notable adoption metrics with over 1.5 million wallet addresses created and processes approximately 100,000 daily transactions. Notable partnerships include GoodDollar, Wirecard, and various merchants using Fuse as a payment solution.
Development Activity
The project maintains active development with regular updates to its core infrastructure. The GitHub repository shows consistent commits and multiple contributors. The team regularly releases technical updates and new features.
Token Distribution
Initial token distribution allocated 40% to ecosystem incentives, 20% to the team and advisors (with vesting), 20% for development, and 20% for public sale. Team tokens have a 3-year vesting period with monthly unlocks.
Revenue Model
The network generates revenue through transaction fees paid in FUSE tokens, which are partially burned and partially distributed to validators. The model does not involve interest-bearing mechanisms or riba.
