Fusion
Crypto Overview
Project Overview
Fusion (FSN) is a blockchain platform launched in 2018 that aims to create an inclusive cryptofinancial platform by providing cross-chain, cross-organization, and cross-data source services. The project's core innovation is its Distributed Control Rights Management (DCRM) technology, which enables the secure management of private keys across different blockchains.
Intended Utility
The primary purpose of FSN is to serve as the native token for the Fusion blockchain, powering smart contracts, cross-chain transactions, and time-value functionalities. The platform introduces concepts like Time-Lock, which allows for the creation of time-based financial instruments in a decentralized manner.
Actual Utility and Usage
Current usage appears limited compared to initial ambitions. While the technology remains functional, development activity has significantly decreased since 2021. The project maintains some partnerships in the DeFi space, but adoption metrics show minimal growth in recent periods.
Token Distribution and Governance
Initial token distribution included: 20% to founding team (24-month vesting), 25% to private sale, 25% to public sale, 30% for ecosystem development. The vesting periods have now concluded. Current wallet distribution shows significant concentration among large holders.
Development Activity
Github repository activity has declined notably since 2021. The last major update to the core protocol was implemented in early 2022. Community development initiatives have also shown limited activity in recent periods.
