Lunyr was a blockchain-based knowledge sharing platform that aimed to create a decentralized peer-reviewed encyclopedia, similar to Wikipedia but with incentives for contributors using the LUN token. The project launched in 2017.
The LUN token was intended to incentivize content creation and peer review on the Lunyr platform. Contributors would earn LUN tokens for writing articles, while reviewers would earn tokens for peer-reviewing content.
However, after investigation, it appears the Lunyr project has been discontinued. The official website is no longer active, and there has been no development activity on their GitHub repository since 2019. The token appears to have been delisted from major exchanges, and trading volume is effectively zero.
Since the project is defunct and the token is no longer actively traded or used for its intended purpose, there is insufficient information to conduct a meaningful analysis of its current utility or business model.
