Purpose and Utility
The stated purpose of MEV is to serve as the governance and utility token for the MEVerse platform. It is designed to facilitate in-game transactions, reward players, and provide voting rights on platform decisions. The token is currently being used for trading and platform governance, though the gaming ecosystem is still in development.
Business Model Evaluation
The core business model focuses on gaming and virtual world interactions, which are generally permissible in Islamic finance as long as they don't involve gambling elements. The platform's current implementation does not appear to involve interest-bearing mechanisms or explicit gambling features.
Development and Adoption
