MonkeyLeague
Crypto Overview
Overview
MonkeyLeague is a play-to-earn esports gaming metaverse built on the Solana blockchain where players can create, play, compete, and earn tokens. The MBS token serves as the primary utility token within the MonkeyLeague ecosystem.
Intended Utility
The MBS token is designed to serve multiple purposes within the MonkeyLeague ecosystem: governance rights for holders, in-game currency for purchasing NFT assets (like monkey characters and stadiums), rewards for playing and winning matches, and staking mechanisms for earning additional benefits.
Actual Utility
The project has launched its beta version and demonstrates actual utility through: Player-vs-Player soccer matches where MBS tokens are used for entry fees and rewards, NFT marketplace transactions for in-game assets, and staking mechanisms that are actively being used by the community. The development team maintains regular updates and improvements to the platform.
Token Distribution and Founder Assessment
The token distribution includes allocations for the team, development, marketing, and community incentives. Team tokens are subject to a vesting schedule to ensure long-term alignment. The founding team has public profiles and established backgrounds in gaming and blockchain development.
Technology Assessment
The project operates on the Solana blockchain, providing fast and low-cost transactions. The gaming mechanics involve skill-based competition rather than chance-based outcomes. All transactions and ownership of digital assets are transparent and verifiable on the blockchain.
