STATE is a governance token launched in late 2023 with the stated purpose of creating a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) focused on making web3 investments. The token gives holders voting rights on investment decisions within the DAO ecosystem.
Utility Analysis
The primary utility of STATE tokens is governance rights within their DAO structure. Token holders can participate in voting on investment decisions and protocol changes. The token also provides access to certain features within their planned investment platform.
Business Model Evaluation
The project's business model revolves around collective investment decisions made through DAO governance. Initial token distribution allocated 40% to the community, 30% to the treasury, 20% to the team (with a 2-year vesting period), and 10% to early investors (with a 1-year vesting period). The vesting schedules and distribution suggest measures to prevent pump-and-dump scenarios.
Development Activity
The project maintains an active GitHub repository with regular updates to their governance platform and investment infrastructure. The development team appears to be consistently working on implementing their roadmap features.
