Purpose and Utility

OriginTrail is a protocol designed to enable trusted data sharing between enterprises, organizations, and blockchains. The TRAC token serves as the native utility token powering the Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG), which allows for the discovery, verification, and exchange of valuable data assets.

Node operators must stake TRAC tokens to participate in the network and receive rewards for maintaining the infrastructure. Users spend TRAC tokens to publish and query data on the network.
