The POKT token serves as the native cryptocurrency used to reward node operators for processing relay requests from applications.
Business Model
The network operates by allowing application developers to stake POKT tokens to access the network's services. Node runners also stake POKT to participate in serving RPC requests. When successful relays occur, node runners earn POKT tokens as rewards. This creates a marketplace for decentralized infrastructure services.
Real-World Adoption
Pocket Network has demonstrated significant adoption, serving billions of RPC requests monthly across various blockchain networks. The protocol has integrated with major networks including Ethereum, Polygon, and Harmony. Notable partnerships include Harmony, DIA, and numerous blockchain infrastructure providers.
