Purpose and Utility
Propel (PEL) is the native token of the Propel platform, aiming to serve as both a utility and governance token within its ecosystem. The token is designed to power transactions and reward node operators who maintain the network's decentralized infrastructure.
Business Model Analysis
The project focuses on developing decentralized network infrastructure, with PEL tokens used for network operation and governance. This fundamental structure aligns with halal principles as it involves the exchange of real value and services.
Current Adoption and Usage
While still in early stages, the network has seen growing adoption among node operators and developers. The token is actively traded on several decentralized and centralized exchanges.
Development Activity
The project maintains active development on GitHub, with regular updates to its core protocol and supporting infrastructure. The development team appears to be consistently working on improving the network's capabilities.
Token Distribution
Initial token distribution included allocations for development (30%), ecosystem growth (25%), community rewards (20%), and team/advisors (25%). Team tokens are subject to a 2-year vesting period with gradual unlocks.
