Shelling
Crypto Overview
Overview
The Shelling Protocol is a decentralized network aimed at providing objective truth validation through the creation of a decentralized source of truth among a network of nodes. It uses game theory and economic incentives to reward participants for providing accurate data validation.
Purpose and Utility
The SHL token is designed as a utility and governance token within the Shelling Protocol ecosystem. Its primary functions include: staking to participate as a validator node, governance voting on protocol changes, and serving as the network's native currency for fees and rewards.
Business Model Analysis
The protocol's business model centers around creating a decentralized oracle network that provides reliable data validation services. This model appears to align with Islamic principles as it provides clear utility through actual services and doesn't involve prohibited activities like interest-based lending or gambling.
Development and Adoption
The project shows ongoing development activity with regular GitHub updates. While adoption is still in early stages, there are signs of growing validator participation and integration discussions with other blockchain projects.
Token Distribution
The token distribution includes allocations for development (20%), team (15%), community rewards (40%), and public sale (25%). Team tokens are subject to a 3-year vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff, showing commitment to long-term development.
