Overview
Stader BNBx is a liquid staking token representing staked BNB on the BNB Chain. When users stake their BNB through Stader Labs, they receive BNBx tokens in return. These tokens represent their staked position and can be used across the DeFi ecosystem while earning staking rewards.
Purpose and Utility
The primary purpose of BNBx is to provide liquid staking for BNB holders, allowing them to maintain liquidity while participating in network security through staking. BNBx tokens represent ownership of staked BNB and automatically accrue staking rewards.
Business Model and Operations
Stader Labs operates validator nodes on the BNB Chain and manages the staking process. Users deposit BNB and receive BNBx tokens that appreciate in value relative to BNB as staking rewards accumulate. The protocol generates revenue through a small percentage of staking rewards.
Platform Development and Adoption
Stader Labs has established partnerships within the BNB Chain ecosystem and maintains active development. The platform has achieved significant adoption, with substantial total value locked (TVL) in their staking protocol.
Token Distribution and Governance
BNBx tokens are minted when users stake BNB and burned when they unstake. The token distribution is directly tied to user participation in the staking system.
