Stratos
Crypto Overview
Project Overview
Stratos is a decentralized data mesh protocol that aims to provide a blockchain-based decentralized data architecture. The project's core offering includes decentralized storage, database, and computation services.
Intended Utility
The STOS token serves multiple purposes within the Stratos ecosystem: It's used for network resource payments, staking for network validation, and governance participation. Node operators receive STOS as rewards for providing computing resources to the network.
Actual Utility Analysis
The project has demonstrated actual utility through its testnet operations and mainnet launch. The Tropos Incentive Testnet has shown practical implementation of the protocol's core features. The project maintains active development, with regular GitHub commits and technical updates.
Token Distribution and Governance
The total supply of STOS is 100 million tokens. The distribution includes allocations for ecosystem development, team members, and public sale participants. Team tokens are subject to a vesting schedule to ensure long-term alignment with project goals.
Technology and Development
Stratos implements a Proof-of-Traffic (PoT) consensus mechanism, which rewards nodes based on their contribution to network resources and traffic handling. The project has launched its mainnet and continues to develop its core infrastructure components.
Sharia Compliance Analysis
The project's core business model involves the exchange of real digital assets and services. Node operators provide actual computing resources and receive compensation in STOS tokens. The network facilitates legitimate technological services without involving interest-based mechanisms or prohibited activities.
