Viction
Crypto Overview
Overview
Viction (formerly TomoChain) is a Layer 1 blockchain platform launched in 2017 that aims to solve scalability issues while maintaining security and decentralization. It utilizes a Proof-of-Stake Voting (PoSV) consensus mechanism and claims to offer near-instant transaction confirmations, minimal fees, and high throughput.
Intended Utility
The primary purpose of Viction is to serve as a scalable blockchain infrastructure for decentralized applications (dApps), token issuance, and DeFi services. The TOMO token is used for network governance, staking, and transaction fees.
Actual Utility
The network demonstrates genuine utility through its operational blockchain with functional features including: smart contract deployment, dApp hosting, and cross-chain bridges. The ecosystem includes several active projects in DeFi, gaming, and NFTs. Current statistics show regular transaction activity and a stable validator network.
Token Distribution and Governance
Initial token distribution allocated 55% to the public, 15% to the team, 15% to advisors and partners, and 15% to ecosystem development. Team tokens had a 2-year vesting period. The project maintains transparency through regular development updates and community governance.
Technology Assessment
The underlying technology focuses on legitimate blockchain utility through its PoSV consensus mechanism, which aligns with Islamic principles as it involves real asset ownership and value creation. The platform facilitates actual digital asset exchange and provides technological infrastructure services.
