Overview
Real USD (USDR) is a decentralized stablecoin project that aims to maintain a 1:1 peg with the US Dollar. The project was launched as part of the TangibleDAO ecosystem.
Purpose and Utility
USDR is designed to serve as a stable medium of exchange and store of value in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, particularly within the TangibleDAO platform. It is backed by real-world assets, specifically Real Estate and Gold, through Tangible's RealT and TNGBL tokens.
Business Model and Operations
The stablecoin operates through a system of collateralization where users can mint USDR by depositing supported assets as collateral. The backing mechanism relies on tangible assets rather than interest-bearing instruments or traditional financial derivatives.
Development and Adoption
The project maintains active development with regular updates to its smart contracts and ecosystem. While adoption is still in early stages, the token has established partnerships within the real estate tokenization space.
Token Distribution and Governance
The token distribution appears relatively decentralized, with no significant concentration among founders or early investors. The protocol is governed by TangibleDAO, allowing token holders to participate in decision-making processes.

The protocol generates revenue through minting and redemption fees, which are used to maintain the ecosystem rather than generate interest. This aligns with Islamic financial principles as it represents service fees rather than riba.
