Intended Purpose
The platform was designed to allow users to make forecasts about blockchain projects' success and receive rewards in WINGS tokens for accurate predictions. The token served as both a governance mechanism and reward token within the ecosystem.
Current Status
Based on available information, the Wings project appears to be defunct. The official website is no longer active, development has ceased, and there is no recent activity in their communication channels. The token still exists on some exchanges but has minimal to no trading volume.
Utility Assessment
The original utility of WINGS was tied to the forecasting platform's operation, which did launch and operate for a period. However, with the platform now inactive, the token currently has no practical utility.
Business Model Analysis
The project's original business model of crowd-sourced project evaluation was permissible from an Islamic perspective as it involved actual value exchange and wasn't based on gambling or interest. However, the project is no longer operational.
